Alanda is Empower Me’s Indigenous Energy Mentor. She has a bachelor’s degree in Indigenous Studies and a Minor in English. Alanda enjoys being a Mentor because it allows her to help others understand their energy bills and make their homes more energy efficient. She is passionate about teaching her community about energy efficiency and loves seeing the impact her workshops make. Becoming a Mentor has shown her how to save energy at home while helping others do the same.
